Today, was the last class for Genesis Wellness Studio. The room was bright , and every sound echoed and vibrated off the walls. It was an eerie feeling knowing this was it, its over. We have closed the chapter on Genesis. Change is coming.

This blog is a salute to the 6 years we were open.

I remember when we started , we had 3 different class rooms, tons of Instructors, massage therapists, and check-in girls. We had limited parking, and limited class space. We were booming. We then tore the walls down and created one big studio room. The class sizes grew, and we created bonds with each other that will last a lifetime. Then the pandemic hit............. silent for 3 months , that's when we started zooming classes. When spring hit, we were so happy because we could go outside. The Park in Elida has become our "special place" it is where we worked out, we socialized , it was our savor during a time when we needed support from each other. When the government said it was safe to workout inside again our contract on Elm street ran out. We then moved to Cole street. We grew to love Cole street, the mirrors on the entire wall were amazing, and the garage door allowed us cool off in the winter and to enjoy the weather in the summer. Our numbers had dwindled from Covid and from the move, we had smaller classes. Our clients grew deeper connections, and we are now family. The year is ending and our contract is up , it is time to close the doors.

Today we say goodbye to 6 years of sweat & hard work. This is an ending to a chapter.

We are all still writing our own book, and there are many more chapters to come.
